Acrylic Canvas Buddha Painting – Overview
This 18 x 18 inch square acrylic painting on canvas is built from thick, separate dabs of blue paint, deepening to navy at the edges and lightening to white in a glowing arch at the lower centre. Inside that arch sits a seated Buddha in meditation, painted as a flat gold silhouette with no internal detail. The textured dabs give the surface a raised, mosaic-like finish. The canvas is mounted on hardwood. Made in India by Flo Art.

Why Choose This Painting
The figure is kept to a plain gold shape and all of the texture is given to the blue around it, so the figure stays simple while the surface carries the texture. The square format suits a meditation corner, a reading nook or the wall above a low console.
